Buemi verlengt abonnement op P1 in de voorbereiding

Het begint eentonig te worden, Sebastien Buemi bovenaan na een testdag in de Formule E. Toch is het weer zover. De Zwitser van e.dams noteerde een 1:31.083 als beste tijd en daar kon niemand aan tippen. Daarmee heeft hij op drie van de vier testdagen in de voorbereiding de snelste tijd gereden.

Zijn naaste belagers waren ook hetzelfde als een dag eerder, namelijk Lucas di Grassi en Jerome D'Ambrosio. De betrouwbaarheid van de Formule E-bolides is vooralsnog voortreffelijk. Er werden gisteren in totaal 840 rondjes afgelegd, verdeeld over negentien coureurs.

Buemi: "Het was weer een goede dag. In de ochtend hebben we aan ons racetempo gewerkt door veel ronden te rijden om een balans in de temperatuur voor de banden en de batterij te vinden. In de middag deden we ook wat kwalificatieruns. Het team had de wagen geweldig geprepareerd."
