D'Ambrosio verlengt verblijf bij Dragon Racing

Jerome D'Ambrosio verdedigt ook komend seizoen de eer van Dragon Racing in de Formule E. De Belg eindigde in de eerste jaargang van de elektrische klasse als vierde bij de coureurs. Hij behaalde drie podiumplekken, inclusief een overwinning in Berlijn.

D'Ambrosio: "Met veel enthousiasme zal ik ook in het tweede seizoen van de Formule E een van de auto's van Dragon Racing bemannen. Ik heb deze organisatie zeges en podiumplaatsen zien produceren. Ik heb het gevoel dat we komend seizoen kunnen voortborduren op de kennis en ervaring van de afgelopen jaargang."

Jay Penske, eigenaar van Dragon Racing: "Ik ben dolblij dat Jerome ook komend seizoen de auto met startnummer 7 voor ons zal besturen. Afgaande op de performance van D'Ambrosio op de baan in de eerste jaargang en de manier waarop hij samenwerkte met de engineers geeft me het gevoel dat we in het tweede Formule E-seizoen meer mooie resultaten in de wacht kunnen slepen."
