Vergne de teamgenoot van Bird bij DS Virgin

Jean-Eric Vergne heeft zich voor komend Formule E-seizoen verbonden aan DS Virgin. De Fransman komt over van Andretti, voor wie hij de afgelopen jaargang twee maal op het podium stond. Bij DS Virgin vergezelt hij in 2015/2016 Sam Bird als teamgenoot.

Vergne: "Ik ben verguld om me bij DS Virgin te voegen in een opwindende periode voor het team, en ook voor de serie met alle nieuwe reglementen voor seizoen twee. Met DS als nieuwe partner kijk ik ernaar uit om een vooruitstrevend Frans bedrijf te vertegenwoordigen. Ik heb er het volste vertrouwen in dat ik met mijn pure snelheid en honger naar succes kan bijdragen aan een verlengde status van topteam in de Formule E voor DS Virgin Racing."
