Formule E limiteert rijderswissels in seizoen

De organisatie van de Formule E heeft maatregelen getroffen om te voorkomen dat teams in het komende seizoen net als in de eerste jaargang maar lukraak en in overvloed rijderswissels toepassen. Elk team mag maar twee keer per ingeschreven auto een coureur vervangen tijdens het seizoen.

In de laatste drie evenementen van de jaargang zijn rijderswissels helemaal niet meer toegestaan. Alleen wanneer sprake is van overmacht, zoals in het geval van een blessure of ziekte, mag een team dan nog een andere coureur aanstellen. Elke rijderswissels dient minstens twee weken van tevoren aangekondigd te zijn.

Ehrm... 2 rijderswissels per auto tijdens het seizoen -> 3 rijders per auto -> (bij 2 auto's) 6 rijders.
Of te wel: dit is bij lange na geen garantie. Als je 2 races voor het eind nog coureur bent, dan heb je zekerheid. Zo lang ze je tenminste geen voedselvergifitiging laten oplopen, natuurlijk. ;-)
