De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de Formule E-kalender voor 2015/2016 gepubliceerd. Die was al grotendeels bekend, alleen de datum voor de seizoensfinale in Londen was nog een discussiepunt. Die is nu vastgesteld op 2 en 3 juli. Zo botst dat evenement niet meer met de Britse Grand Prix, maar nu met de Oostenrijkse Grand Prix.

De FIA bekrachtigde de regel die maximaal twee rijderswissels per auto toestaat, evenals de regel die voorschrijft dat alle resultaten nu meetellen voor het kampioenschap. De vijf snelste coureurs in de kwalificatie zullen voortaan strijden om een Super Pole en het vermogen in de kwalificatie gaat omhoog van 170 kW naar 200 kW. Michelin is benoemd als bandenleverancier tot en met 2018/2019.
