Trulli bevestigt einde van Formule E-project

Jarno Trulli heeft officieel aangekondigd dat hij zijn team terugtrekt uit de Formule E. De renstal van de Italiaanse voormalig Formule 1-coureur stopt met onmiddellijke ingang. Dit besluit volgt op een toch al problematische start van het seizoen, met veel technische problemen met de nieuwe auto.

Trulli GP-directeur Francesco Test: "Nadat we in Beijing en Putrajaya niet door de technische keuring zijn gekomen en in het kader van onze commerciële overeenkomst met Formula E Holdings, zijn we gedwongen om het einde van het Trulli Formula E Team aan te kondigen. Als grote supporters van deze klasse maken we plaats voor een nieuwe partij om onze plek over te nemen en bij te dragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van deze klasse en de elektrische racerij."
