Duran maakt het seizoen af bij Team Aguri

Salvador Duran keert terug in de Formule E bij Team Aguri. De Mexicaan reed vorig jaar al negen races voor de Japanse renstal, waarin hij dertien punten scoorde. Hij is de vervanger van Nathanael Berthon, wiens vertrek bij Aguri begin deze week bekend werd.

Duran: "Ik ben dolblij dat ik weer bij Team Aguri aan de slag ga. Dit is een ambitieus teams met een overvloed aan kennis op technisch gebied en wat betreft engineering in de Formule E. Ik verheug me erop om een bijdrage te leveren aan een nu al succesvol seizoen. Ik kijk vooral uit naar de race in Mexico in maart. De sfeer zal zeer bijzonder zijn en ik kan niet wachten om mooie dingen te laten zien voor mijn landgenoten op de tribune."
