Londen laatste hoofdstuk voor Team Aguri

De afsluiting van het tweede seizoen van de Formule E dit weekend in Londen betekent tevens het einde van Team Aguri. De eigenaar van de Japanse renstal heeft de licentie aan een groep investeerders verkocht. Team Aguri verschijnt dit weekend voor het laatst in deze vorm aan de start van een Formule E-race.

Teambaas Mark Preston: "Ik ben trots op het feit dat Team Aguri een van de pioniers in de ontwikkeling van elektrische voertuigen en nieuwe technologieën is geweest. Hoewel het boek Formule E na dit weekend dicht gaat voor Team Aguri, betekent dit ook een nieuwe start met de verkoop van de renstal aan de investeerders. Dit worden de laatste races voor Team Aguri en ik wil alle betrokken bedanken voor hun harde werk en toewijding in de voorbije twee seizoenen."
