Tweede training afgelast vanwege problemen met electriciteit

De tweede vrije training ter voorbereiding op de allerlaatste ePrix van het huidige seizoen is afgelast. De stroom is uitgevallen in het gebied rond Battersea Park en de organisatie heeft daarom besloten de training te annuleren. Naast praktische problemen rondom het circuit zou de stroomuitval ook kunnen leiden tot oneerlijke kansen voor de teams in verband met het opladen van de elektrische systemen.

In de eerste training voor de beslissende race om het kampioenschap was Sebastien Buemi de snelste. Lucas di Grassi, de leider in het kampioenschap, kwam tot een vijfde tijd. Net als gisteren verliep de training voor Robin Frijns teleurstellend. De Nederlander kwam niet verder dan een dertiende plaats.
