Villeneuve wil terugkeren in Formule E

Jacques Villeneuve reed vorig jaar twee ePrix en daarmee zat zijn loopbaan in de elektrische klasse er alweer op. De Canadees heeft echter de ambitie uitgesproken om terug te keren in de klasse, omdat het volgens hem een professionele klasse is met mooie circuits en leuke auto's om te rijden.

Het avontuur van Villeneuve in de Formule E was van korte duur. De wereldkampioen Formule 1 van 1997 reed slechts twee volledige evenementen mee. In Uruguay trok Villeneuve zich terug na een crash in de kwalificatie. 

Villeneuve over zijn afgelopen seizoen en de ambitie om terug te keren: "Ik zou maar al te graag terugkeren. De Formule E rijdt op mooie circuits en de races zijn competitief. Mijn ervaring van vorig seizoen was goed en ik zou het graag nog eens proberen. Misschien was ik afgelopen jaar wel te onervaren, met name het remmen met de Formule E auto's is anders. Het team had me daar beter moeten begeleiden."

    Het is en blijft een bijzonder eigenaardig heerschap deze Villeneuve.

      Jaap is geloof ik stand up comdedian geworden, of vergeet regelmatig zijn pilletjes in te nemen, maar entertainment daar is hij van.
      Er komt echt werkelijk geen zinnig woord meer uit 's mans mond. Hij gaat te langzaam dus het team maakt een fout in zijn prep. Max wint maar rijdt daarbij volgens deze roeptoeter nog te langzaam.

      De zin 'misschien was IK vorig jaar wel te langzaam' is tekenend in zijn nog niet doorgedrongen spiegelreflex kritiek op Max. Wat je zegt ben je zelluf zeggen kleine kinderen, en een klein kind, dat is het.

    Hahahahahaha, het team had me daarin beter moeten begeleiden? Soms heb ik echt het idee dat deze beste man aan de crack zit. Hij geeft altijd iedereen de schuld en heeft altijd genoeg over andere te vertellen, maar kijkt nooit naar zichzelf. Bangerik.

    Ik dacht altijd dat Jacques door zijn rijke ervaring in series buiten de Formule E juist prima geschikt voor deze serie zou moeten zijn, ook omdat hij niet piepjong was en daardoor dus geen belediging voor de rest van het veld zou zijn?

    Had per slot van rekening een betere wagen dan bijvoorbeeld Frijns of Da Costa...

    Het is dat moderne accu's geen accuzuur meer hebben, anders was de ph waarde van deze oude zuurpruim voldoende om het hele veld een seizoen lang te voorzien.

    Wat een mafkees is die man aan het worden.
