NextEV presenteert de livery en de line-up

Het team van NextEV heeft de kleurstelling en de line-up voor het Formule E-seizoen 2016/2017 onthuld. De renstal maakt de komende jaargang wederom gebruik van de diensten van Nelson Piquet en Oliver Turvey. NextEV heeft de gebruikelijke livery een frisse draai gegeven en is klaar voor de eerste testdag, vandaag op Donington Park.

Piquet, Formule E-kampioen van 2014/2015: "NextEV is volledig toegewijd aan de Formule E en ik geloof dat dit team goede vooruitzichten heeft voor de lange termijn. Het doet me deugd dat ik blijf racen voor het team waarmee ik het kampioenschap heb gewonnen en het doel is om komend seizoen weer een gooi te doen naar zeges. We hebben een uitdagend jaar achter de rug, maar daar hebben we ook veel van geleerd en het heeft ons sterker gemaakt."

  @Sergeant: Maar zo raar is dat toch niet? Er zullen nog zat (bewegende) onderdelen in die wagen zitten die olie nodig hebben denk ik.

  Idd, vooral de versnellingsbak. Maar meestal denkt "Big Oil" niet zo ver door, net zo als ze vaak niet doordenken dat plasticproductie ook olie nodig heeft als grondstof

  @sergeant: er zijn genoeg andere materiaalen waar je polymeren van kunt maken.
  En we zouden wel wat minder van plastic kunnen maken, zie maar naar de winkel-tasjes.
