Formule E-coureurs springen in de bres voor Robert Kubica

Aanvankelijk zou hij uitkomen in het World Endurance Championship, maar dat ging aanvankelijk niet door. Robert Kubica zou dit seizoen voor het eerst sinds zijn zware ongeluk in een rally in 2011 weer een volledig seizoen gaan rijden in een professionele raceklasse. Kubica hoeft echter niet bang zijn dat hij nergens aan de bak komt, de coureurs van de Formule E zouden hem er graag bij hebben.

Kubica raakte door zijn crash in een rally in Italië zwaar gewond aan zijn hand en het duurde even voordat hij weer een raceauto kon besturen. "Ik zou Robert Kubica er graag bij hebben. Hij is een geweldige kerel en ik heb hem vorig jaar in Bahrein tijdens de laatste race van het WEC-seizoen gezegd dat hij van harte welkom is", aldus e.Dams-coureur Sebastien Buemi.

Loic Duval ziet Kubica als een uitstekende coureur: "Robert is een geweldige kerel en bloedsnel. Het zou geweldig zijn voor het kampioenschap om hem erbij te hebben. Ik gun hem een kans in een professionele raceklasse."

Pfff, ik ben geen taalpurist, maar het wordt wel gênant als de schrijver van het bericht zichzelf niet controleert.
