Formule E vindt nieuwe datum voor ePrix van Santiago

De Formule E is erin geslaagd om een nieuwe datum te prikken voor de eerder uitgestelde ePrix van Santiago. De Chileense hoofdstad had eigenlijk afgelopen weekend (16 januari, red.) reeds gastheer moeten zijn voor een Formule E-race, maar door het coronavirus kon dat niet doorgaan.

Het nieuwe Formule E-seizoen begint nu pas op 26 en 27 februari in Diriyah, Saoedi-Arabië. Santiago is er wel in geslaagd om een nieuwe datum voor de ePrix te vinden. De elektrische raceklasse zal nu op 5 en 6 juni in Chili racen, zo heeft de voorzitter van de Chileense autosportbond Mauricio Melo Avaria bekendgemaakt.
