Aitken maakt indruk, geen tijd voor Visser

Jack Aitken heeft op zijn eerste dag in de Formule V8 de toon gezet in de tweede vrije training. Op het circuit van Jerez noteerde de Brit, die normaal gesproken in de GP3 uitkomt, de snelste tijd met een 1:29.246. Rene Binder eindigde op 0,085 seconde als tweede.

De derde plaats ging naar Matevos Isaakyan. Pietro Fittipaldi legde beslag op de vierde plaats. De Braziliaan viel in de slotfase nog stil en veroorzaakte een rode vlag. Beitske Visser kon geen vervolg geven aan haar vijfde plaats uit de eerste training. Ze legde slechts drie rondjes af en sloot de sessie af zonder tijd.
