Kanamaru tekent voor 2017 bij RP Motorsport

Yu Kanamaru vervolgt zijn loopbaan met een tweede opeenvolgende seizoen in de Formule V8 3.5. Vorig jaar was de 22-jarige Japanner de teamgenoot van Beitske Visser bij Teo Martin Motorsport. In 2017 verdedigt hij de kleuren van RP Motorsport.

Kanamaru: "Voor mij is het een eer om me bij RP Motorsport te voegen. Ik ben enthousiast over onze kansen in het komende Formule V8 3.5-seizoen en ik ga me honderd procent inzetten voor mijn nieuwe team. Samen kunnen we onze ambitieuze doelstellingen verwezenlijken. De focus ligt op dit moment al bij onze opdrachten voor de komende test in Aragon. Deelnemen aan een prestigieus kampioenschap in het voorprogramma van het WEC is een goede drijfveer om sterk te presteren."
