Nabil Jeffri tekent voor 2017 bij Trident Racing

Nabil Jeffri racet dit jaar voor Trident Racing in de GP2. De 23-jarige Maleisiër debuteerde vorig jaar namens Arden in het voorportaal van de Formule 1. Hij scoorde twee punten op weg naar een 22ste positie in de eindstand om het kampioenschap.

Jeffri: "Ik ben vereerd om de eerste coureur te zijn die door Trident is bevestigd voor 2017. Met de kans om een tweede seizoen in de GP2 te doen en voor een team met een rijke geschiedenis als Trident uit te komen wordt een droom werkelijkheid. Ik weet zeker dat zij me komend seizoen goed zullen ondersteunen. Mijn doel is om puik werk te leveren in samenspraak met de technische staf van Trident en ik mik op een top tien-klassering."
