Melker krijgt Ryo Haryanto als teamgenoot voor Abu Dhabi

Nigel Melker debuteert in Abu Dhabi in de GP2 voor DAMS en weet ondertussen ook wie zijn teamgenoot is voor de races op Yas Marina Circuit. Ryo Haryanto komt eveneens over uit de GP3, waarin hij afgelopen seizoen twee keer won en als zevende het seizoen afsloot.

DAMS is het team waarmee Romain Grosjean de GP2-titel veroverde dit jaar. Haryanto testte in oktober voor de renstal, zonder echt snelle tijden te noteren. De jonge Indonesiër mocht een jaar geleden nog voor Virgin Racing rijden tijdens de young driver-test in Abu Dhabi.
