iSport International completeert line-up met Jolyon Palmer

Jolyon Palmer rijdt in 2012 voor iSport International in de GP2 Series. De 20-jarige Brit debuteerde dit jaar in die klasse voor Arden en hij testte in oktober al voor iSport International. Bij die renstal krijgt hij Marcus Ericsson als teamgenoot.

Palmer: Ik ben blij om me bij iSport International te voegen voor mijn tweede seizoen in de GP2. Ik heb veel geleerd bij Arden en mik nu op een top drie-klassering in het kampioenschap. iSport is een bewezen topteam en we kennen elkaar uit de wintertests, dus ik weet zeker dat we samen onze doelen kunnen bereiken.

Teambaas Paul Jackson: Na twee tests met Jolyon en gezien zijn progressie in 2011, resulterend in een podium in Abu Dhabi, zijn we blij met zijn komst naar iSport International. Met zijn debuutseizoen achter zich is het nu tijd voor regelmatige puntenfinishes en podiumplekken, voor een gooi naar de titel. Jolyon werkt hard en bezit de capaciteit om snel te leren en de resultaten van tests toe te passen. Daar zullen wij in 2012 de vruchten van plukken.
