Wilson maakt jaar af bij Andretti Autosport

Justin Wilson is terug in de IndyCar. De Brit rijdt tot en met het einde van dit seizoen in de auto van Andretti Autosport met startnummer 25. Wilson racete eerder dit jaar voor Andretti in de twee wedstrijden in Indianapolis en hij nam namens het team deel aan een Formule E-race.

"Het is uiteraard geweldig om het restant van dit IndyCar-seizoen uit te komen voor Andretti Autosport", begint de Brit. "Ik kijk echt uit naar de vijf races die nog op het programma staan, te beginnen dit weekend in Milwaukee. Ik ga mijn best doen om het team en Honda aan mooie resultaten te helpen en ik zal proberen om succesvol te zijn."

Wilson is met zijn 36 jaar en 170 IndyCar-starts een veteraan in het veld. Hij won zeven maal in de Amerikaanse raceklasse, stond 26 keer op het podium, heeft 93 top tien-klasseringen op zijn naam staan en leidde meer dan 700 ronden in dertien seizoenen.
