Aleshin voor Sonoma herenigd met SMP

Mikhail Aleshin keert eind deze maand terug op de IndyCar-grid. De Rus zal de test en de race op het circuit van Sonoma namens Schmidt Peterson Motorsports voor zijn rekening nemen. Vorig jaar reed hij een volledig seizoen voor SMP in de Amerikaanse klasse.

Aleshin: "Ik ben dolblij om mijn rentree in deze vermakelijke serie te maken en om herenigd te worden met mijn team van vorig jaar. Samen hebben we in 2014 toch aardige successen geboekt. Dit seizoen ligt de nadruk op mijn campagne in de Europese Le Mans Series en de onophoudelijke ontwikkeling van de BR01. Voor volgend jaar proberen we het budget voor een IndyCar-stoeltje te vergaren en ik hoop met deze race een stevige stap in de juiste richting te zetten."
