Ed Carpenter Racing keert terug in IndyCar

Ed Carpenter en Sarah Fisher hebben de samenwerking stop gezet. Daardoor komt er een einde aan Carpenter Fisher Hartman Racing en keert Ed Carpenter Racing terug in de IndyCar. Carpenter zal zelf de oval-races voor zijn rekening nemen in de auto met startnummer 20 en voor de overige races is hij nog op zoek naar een coureur. Josef Newgarden bemant de ECR-bolide met startnummer 21.

Carpenter: "Na een jaar als CFH Racing gaan we voor 2016 en daarna weer verder als ECR. Hoewel we een geweldig jaar als CFH achter de rug hebben, zijn er in de organisatie wat dingen veranderd waardoor het logischer is om door te gaan als ECR. Ik ben trots op wat we als team bereikt hebben sinds 2012 en ik kijk ernaar uit om daarop verder te bouwen tijdens een nieuw en opwindend IndyCar-seizoen."
