Filippi laatste toevoeging voor IndyCar-veld

Luca Filippi is als laatste aan het veld voor de openingsrace van het nieuwe IndyCar-seizoen in St Petersburg van komend weekend toegevoegd. De Italiaan zal de auto met startnummer 19 van Dale Coyne Racing gaan bemannen. Hij is alleen bevestigd voor deze wedstrijd.

Filippi: "Het was fijn om vorige week op Sebring te testen voorafgaand aan de start van het seizoen. Het was voor mij de eerste keer in een IndyCar-auto op een normaal circuit sinds Sonoma vorig jaar. We hadden een productieve test en het was een goede voorbereiding op St Petersburg. We hebben ons gericht op het vinden van de juiste balans en een strak tempo. Ik focus me altijd op racesnelheid, want als je snel en constant bent maak je de meeste kans op goede resultaten."
