Helio Castroneves heeft vannacht de overwinning gescoord op de Kentucky Speedway. De Braziliaan ging halverwege de race 'out of sequence', maar dat leverde hem wel een dominante overwinning op. Ed Carpenter eindigde wederom zeer sterk als tweede.
