De Silvestro verzekert zich van driejarig contract bij HVM

Het goede debuutjaar van Simona de Silvestro in de IndyCar werpt zijn vruchten af. HVM Racing heeft Entergy Nuclear voor drie jaar vastgelegd als sponsor van het team en De Silvestro. De 22-jarige Zwitserse reed vorig jaar voor het eerst in de Amerikaanse raceserie en scoorde 242 punten.

De Silvestro: Het is een speciaal gevoel en ik ben opgewonden voor 2011. Voor het eerst in mijn carrière heb ik de zekerheid dat ik de komende jaren kan racen. Met Entergy hebben we een geweldige partner en het is top dat ze aan boord komen. Hopelijk kunnen we de mensen bewust maken van schone nucleaire energie en dat promoten.

HVM Racing-teambaas Keith Wiggins: Dit is fantastisch nieuws voor HVM en Simona. Het geeft Simona de tijd om zich te ontwikkelen tot topcoureur terwijl dit voor het team voor een stabiel platform voor de toekomst zorgt.
