Paul Tracy hoopt op fulltime contract bij Conquest

Paul Tracy hoopt komend seizoen weer een volledig seizoen te kunnen racen in de IndyCar Series. De Canadees heeft al drie jaar geen fulltime contract gehad in Amerika, maar zet zijn zinnen nu op een stoeltje bij Conquest.

Tracy, die in 2003 kampioen werd in de ChampCar, reed vorig jaar zes races voor KV Racing en Dreyer & Reinbold. "Ik heb de afgelopen maand erg veel met Eric Bachelart (teambaas, red.) gepraat en hij blijft mij zeggen dat hij zijn team nog serieuzer wil aanpakken", vertelde Tracy. "Hij wil hogerop komen met zijn team en werkt er hard aan. Je kan zoiets echter niet voor elkaar krijgen met rijders die zichzelf in een team kopen."
