SH Racing in Baltimore met Tomas Scheckter aan de start

Het team van SH Racing heeft zich ingeschreven voor de IndyCar-race in Baltimore volgende maand. Als coureur zal de renstal Tomas Scheckter inzetten. De Zuid-Afrikaan reed de auto van SH Racing in de Indy 500 naar de achtste plek. Scheckter racet komend weekend voor Dreyer & Reinbold Racing als vervanger van de geblesseerde Justin Wilson.

SH Racing-baas James Sullivan: Ons oorspronkelijke plan na de oprichting van SH Racing was om ons puur te richten op de Indianapolis 500. Nadat we daarin een achtste plaats behaalden besloten we collectief om minstens nog één evenement te doen, met Tomas als logische keuze voor het stoeltje. De race in Baltimore en de maanden die daarop volgen zullen we gebruiken om alle aspecten van ons programma te evalueren en om onze plannen voor de IndyCar Series voor 2012 op te bouwen.
