Giorgio Pantano maakt IndyCar-debuut als vervanger van Wilson

Giorgio Pantano zal tijdens twee van de resterende races van het IndyCar-seizoen de plaats innemen van de geblesseerde Justin Wilson. Op de Infineon Raceway en tijdens de Baltimore Grand Prix zal de oud-Formule 1-coureur racen voor Dreyer & Reinbold. Het zal de eerste keer zijn dan Pantano in de IndyCar Series in actie komt.

"Dit is een erg mooie kans voor mij", vertelde de 32-jarige Pantano. "Ik wil hierbij Dreyer & Reinbold en de sponsoren bedanken voor de mogelijkheid. Ik wil altijd competitief racen en kijk erg uit naar mijn eerste race."
