Andretti Autosport en Chevrolet met elkaar in zee voor 2012

Andretti Autosport heeft voor Chevrolet als motorenpartner voor het nieuwe tijdperk met V6-turbomotoren vanaf 2012 gekozen. De renstal maakt nu nog gebruik van Honda-krachtbronnen, maar ruilt de Japanse motoren volgend jaar in voor Amerikaanse aandrijving.

Teameigenaar Mario Andretti: Ik ben verguld om weer met Chevrolet aan de slag te gaan. We hebben vijftien races samen gewonnen in slechts drie jaar in het verleden. Het seizoen 1991 was echt magisch. Nu krijgen Andretti Autosport en onze sponsors weer de kans om met Chevrolet te winnen. Deze samenwerking zal geweldig uitpakken. Chevrolet is toegewijd aan de autosport en een geboren winnaar.
