KV Racing in zee met Chevrolet als motorenleverancier voor 2012

Het team van KV Racing werkt vanaf volgend jaar samen met Chevrolet als nieuwe motorenpartner. De renstal is na Andretti Autosport en Penske Racing de derde renstal die de nieuwe V6 turbo in 2012 van Chevrolet afneemt. KV Racing rijdt nu nog met Honda.

Mede-teameigenaar Kevin Kalkhoven: Ik ben heel blij om te verkondigen dat KV Racing Technology een overeenkomst met Chevrolet heeft bereikt voor de afname van krachtbronnen voor 2012. Chevy heeft een bewezen geschiedenis van innovatie en succes in de autosport, en wij kijken er naar uit om dat voort te zetten.

Jimmy Vasser, ook een mede-eigenaar: Het doet me deugd dat Chevrolet terug keert in de IndyCar en dat wij met ze samen gaan werken. Ik heb een lange band met Chevy. Mijn eerste auto in 1969 was een Camaro, mijn eerste podium in 1993 was met een Chevrolet-motor en met trots zeg ik dat ik zelf een Chevrolet-dealer ben. We verheugen ons op een lange en succesvolle samenwerking.
