Tony Kanaan en EJ Viso worden komend weekend na de kwalificatie in Iowa tien plaatsen terug gezet op de grid. Hun team KV Racing Technology heeft de Chevrolet-motoren van het duo gewisseld.

Een domper voor het Zuid-Amerikaanse tweetal. Kanaan en Viso behaalden in het vorige evenement, in Milwaukee, hun beste resultaten van het seizoen, respectievelijk tweede en vijfde.
