Dixon wint opnieuw in Mid-Ohio, Power herovert koppositie

Scott Dixon heeft de IndyCar-race op het circuit van Mid-Ohio op zijn naam geschreven. De Nieuw-Zeelander voelt zich als een vis in het water op die baan, het is al de vierde keer in zes jaar dat hij daar triomfeert. Will Power finishte in een race zonder neutralisaties als tweede.

Daardoor pakt de Australiër weer de leiding in de tussenstand om het kampioenschap. Concurrent Ryan Hunter-Reay eindigde door motorproblemen slechts als vierentwintigste. Power heeft nu 379 punten, vijf meer dan Hunter-Reay met nog drie races te gaan.
