KV Racing contracteert Simona de Silvestro voor 2013

KV Racing Technology heeft Simona de Silvestro vastgelegd voor volgend seizoen. De 24-jarige Zwitserse is de nieuwe teamgenoot van Tony Kanaan. Ze neemt Nuclear Clean Air Energy als sponsor en Imran Safiulla als nieuwe teambaas mee.

De Silvestro testte deze week op Barber Motorsports Park al voor KV Racing. "Ik ben heel blij om me bij KV Racing te voegen en Tony Kanaan als stalgenoot is geweldig. Een grote verandering is nooit makkelijk, maar ik heb vertrouwen dat dit de juiste stap voor mijn loopbaan is."

"Ik wil HVM Racing bedanken voor de ervaring die ik de afgelopen drie jaar heb opgedaan. Hoewel we afgelopen seizoen worstelden met de motor heb ik toch veel geleerd. Nu is het tijd om verder te gaan en ik kijk uit naar volgend jaar!"

Eindelijk het juiste keuze Simona. Jammer voor je dat vorig jaar niet opschoot met de motoren voor je.

Ik vraag me af wat Rubens Barrichello gaat doen. Hier al nieuws over dat hij blijft bij KV en/of Indycar?

Ps: Redactie, IRL bestaat al een poos niet meer. Het is puur \"Indycar\".
