Graham Rahal tekent bij Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing

Graham Rahal is vanaf komend seizoen actief voor het team van Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, kortweg RLLR. De 23-jarige coureur tekent een meerjarig contract bij het team waar zijn vader Bobby Rahal mede-eigenaar van is. Rahal was afgelopen seizoen in dienst van Chip Ganassi Racing en legde beslag op de tiende plek in de eindklassering, met een tweede plaats als beste resultaat.

Graham Rahal: "Het doet me deugd om me fulltime bij RLLR te voegen. Het is iets waar ik geen rekening mee hield voor deze fase van mijn carrière, maar het is wel de meest logische stap. Ik ben nog nooit zo opgewonden over een nieuwe werkgever geweest, waarschijnlijk omdat ik de potentie zie van wat mijn vader en de rest van de renstal het afgelopen jaar hebben bereikt met Takuma Sato. Tel daar de tijd die het team nu heeft om zich verder te ontwikkelen bij op en ik krijg nog meer zin in dit avontuur. Ik kan niet wachten om te beginnen met testen en natuurlijk racen! Dit is een spannende tijd voor me."
