Conway in elk geval in Long Beach in auto van RLLR

Mike Conway staat op 21 april aan de start van de IndyCar-race op het circuit van Long Beach. De Brit heeft geen vast stoeltje voor komend seizoen, maar voegt zich voor de baan waar hij in 2011 won bij Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, als teamgenoot van Graham Rahal.

Conway: "Het team heeft bewezen over snelheid en technische expertise te beschikken, en ik sta te popelen om aan de slag te gaan met ze. Ik heb indirect al met race-engineer Eddie Jones gewerkt bij Andretti Autosport. Hij weet van wanten, zit al lang in de IndyCar en ik verheug me op de hereniging. Ik hoop meer races op mijn schema voor 2013 te kunnen zetten, maar voorlopig ben ik al blij dat ik in Long Beach in actie kom."
