Einde aan IndyCar-avontuur voor Conquest Racing

Het team van Conquest Racing ziet af van deelname aan de IndyCar in 2013. De renstal van de Belg Eric Bachelart heeft het Dallara DW12-chassis verkocht en gaat zich volledig focussen op de Amerikaanse Le Mans Series.

Vorig jaar ontbrak Conquest Racing al op de IndyCar-grid en het avontuur is nu definitief voorbij. Bachelart: "We hebben deze week de knoop doorgehakt. We hebben alle scenario's de revue laten passeren en beseften dat het te laat was om een competitief IndyCar-programma voor dit jaar op poten te zetten. Het was beter om een stap terug te doen dan op het laatste moment nog iets te regelen wat niet aan onze standaard kon voldoen."
