Lapierre ontbreekt in Fuji door privéomstandigheden

Nicolas Lapierre mist komend weekend de thuisrace van Toyota op de Fuji Speedway. De Fransman ontbreekt vanwege privéomstandigheden. Toyota stelt geen vervanger voor Lapierre aan. Daardoor delen Sebastien Buemi en Antony Davidson (foto) de auto met startnummer 8 met zijn tweeën.

Yoshiaki Kinoshita, Toyota-teampresident: "Nicolas neemt even een pauze vanwege persoonlijke omstandigheden en het team steunt hem daarin. Dit hebben we in goed overleg samen besloten. We hebben de line-up voor 2015 en daarna bijna rond. Nicolas blijft voor de lange termijn aan ons verbonden."
