Tung op de startlijst voor 6 uur van Sjanghai

Ho-Pin Tung doet begin november mee aan de volgende race in het World Endurance Championship, de 6 uur van Sjanghai. De Nederlandse Chinees vormt voor zijn thuisrace een trio met David Cheng en Mark Patterson in een Morgan-Judd van Oak Racing in de LMP2-klasse.

Nicolas Lapierre staat ook weer op de startlijst namens Toyota, nadat hij in Fuji verstek moest laten gaan vanwege privéomstandigheden. Het is echter nog niet bekend of de Fransman ook daadwerkelijk mee zal doen in China.

Ook boven de deelname van de Lotus CLM P1/01 hangt nog een vraagteken na een brandje in Japan. Met de komst van het Amerikaanse team Extreem Speed Motorsports zal het veld in Sjanghai uit 29 auto's bestaan.
