Jarvis vervanger van Kristensten bij Audi

Oliver Jarvis wacht de zware taak om Tom Kristensen te doen vergeten bij Audi. De Brit is door Audi aangesteld als vervanger voor de negenvoudig Le Mans-winnaar. Kristensen hing zijn helm na afgelopen seizoen aan de wilgen. Jarvis deed dit jaar al ervaring op in de derde Audi LMP1.

De 30-jarige coureur vormt vanaf 2015 een vast trio met Lucas di Grassi en Loïc Duval. De line-up van de andere Audi blijft ongewijzigd met Benoit Treluyer, Andre Lotterer en Marcel Fassler. Het Duitse merk schrijft ook volgend jaar een derde auto in voor de 6 uur van Spa-Francorchamps en de 24 uur van Le Mans. Die bolide zal bestuurd worden door Filipe Albuquerque, Marco Bonanomi en Rene Rast, die de plaats van Jarvis inneemt.
