Nissan voltooit test in Amerika met LMP1-auto

De nieuwe Nissan GT-R LM Nismo heeft meer dan 2000 kilometer afgelegd bij een test in Amerika. Bij een test op het testcomplex van Chevrolet Bowling Green in Kentucky reden de coureurs voornamelijk onder natte omstandigheden.

Harry Tincknell nam het grootste deel van de test voor zijn rekening. "We hebben veel geleerd over de regenbanden van Michelin", aldus Tincknell. "Het was erg nuttig. De auto rijdt soepel en we leren nog altijd ontzettend veel iedere dag."

De andere rijders van Nissan, Michael Krumm, Max Chilton, Marc Gene, Jann Mardenborough en Alex Buncombe namen ook del aan de test. Het team heeft nog twee testdagen gepland staan in Amerika, voordat men deelneemt aan de testdag voor Le Mans op 31 mei.
