LM24: Tiende uur Audi leidt, maar Porsche verkleint de achterstand

In deze fase van de race gaat het vooral om consolideren en geen fouten maken. De tijden van de verschillende teams liggen zo dicht bij elkaar dat iedere fout misschien wel de fatale kan zijn. De Porsche met nummer 17, die ondertussen wordt bestuurd door Timo Bernhard, kan daar over meepraten, na hun penalty liggen ze op 2 minuten achterstand ten opzichte van de leiders.

De eer van Porsche wordt op dit moment verdedigt door de nummer 19 auto met Nick Tandy. Die slechts op enkele seconden achter de nummer 7 Audi met André Lotterer rijdt. Zij strijden op dit moment om de leiding.

De Toyota's rijden nog wel rond en schijnbaar zonder technische problemen, maar qua snelheid komen ze echt te kort, die komen in dit stuk niet voor. Op dit moment rijden ze op de plaatsen 7 en 8 rond.

Jeroen Bleekemolen is ook weer ingestapt en hij rijdt op plaats 6 in zijn klasse. Ook Ho-Pin Tung is weer onderweg, hij rijdt op positie 13 in zijn klasse. Xavier Maassen is nog steeds elfde.
