WMSC ratificeert WEC-schema voor 2016

De World Motor Sport Council heeft de kalender van het World Endurance Championship voor 2016 bekrachtigd. Het voorgestelde schema met negen evenementen is goedgekeurd door het orgaan van de internationale autosportbond FIA. Mexico City is nieuw op het programma.

De WEC-kalender voor 2016:

17 april - 6 uur van Silverstone

7 mei - 6 uur van Spa-Francorchamps

18-19 juni - 24 uur van Le Mans

24 juli - 6 uur van de Nürburgring

4 september - 6 uur van Mexico City

17 september - 6 uur van Circuit of the Americas

16 oktober - 6 uur van Fuji

6 november - 6 uur van Sjanghai

19 november - 6 uur van Bahrein
