Wurz ambassadeur en adviseur van Toyota

De toekomstplannen van Alexander Wurz zijn bekend. De Oostenrijker stopt als coureur en vervolgt zijn loopbaan als adviseur en ambassadeur van Toyota. Hij reed de afgelopen jaren al voor het Japanse merk in het World Endurance Championship.

Wurz: "Het was altijd mijn bedoeling om na mijn actieve carrière door te gaan in de wereld van de autosport en ik ben blij om dit nieuwe hoofdstuk aan te vangen bij Toyota. We hebben samen veel beleefd sinds de start van dit project en het is opwindend om onderdeel uit te maken van de toekomstplannen voor het team. Met de nieuwe auto op komst voor 2016 en de bloeiperiode waarin het WEC zich bevindt, is er genoeg om ons op te verheugen."
