Tuscher behoudt plek bij Rebellion Racing

Rebellion Racing heeft de plannen voor 2016 gepresenteerd. Het Zwitserse team heeft twee auto's ingeschreven voor het World Endurance Championship en de 24 uur van Le Mans. De line-up is hetzelfde als aan het einde van afgelopen seizoen.

Dat betekent dat Matheo Tuscher zijn plaats naast Nick Heidfeld, Nicolas Prost, Mathias Beche, Dominik Kraihamer en Alexandre Imperatori consolideert. Tuscher was in de laatste twee races van vorig jaar al de vervanger van Daniel Abt.

Rebellion-teammanager Bart Hayden: "We hebben twee auto's aangemeld voor het WEC en de 24 uur van Le Mans. We gaan door met de AER P60-motor. Vorig seizoen pakten we wel de titel als beste privé-team in de LMP1, maar er was nog genoeg ruimte voor verbetering."
