FIA publiceert startlijst voor WEC-superseizoen

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de ingeschreven teams voor het World Endurance Championship-seizoen 2018/2019 gepubliceerd. Het veld bestaat deze jaargang uit 36 auto's, waarvan tien inschrijvingen voor de LMP1-klasse.

Renger van der Zande zal voor Dragonspeed uitkomen in de LMP1-klasse Zoals verwacht heeft Racing Team Nederland - met Giedo van der Garde, Jan Lammers en Frits van Eerd - een startbewijs voor de LMP2-klasse gekregen. Ho-Pin Tung is in dezelfde klasse namens Jackie Chan DC Racing van de partij. In de LM GTE Pro-klasse moet Nick Catsburg namens BMW de Nederlandse eer hooghouden.
