Ferrari viert Le Mans-overwinning met optocht door thuisstad Maranello

Ferrari heeft haar recentelijke Le Mans-overwinning in stijl gevierd door een optocht door haar thuishaven Maranello te organiseren. Beide van haar hypercars waren aanwezig, met daarop meeliftend alle coureurs van de Scuderia die aan de honderdjarige editie van Le Mans hebben meegedaan.

De Ferrari wist haar Le Mans-overwinning op bijzondere wijze te vieren. De Ferrari-hypercar met racenummer 51 kwam door de poorten van haar Maranello-fabriek naar buiten gerold, met daarop de drie coureurs die de machine op de eerste plaats richting de finishvlag hebben gebracht. Coureurs Antonio Giovinazzi, Alessandro Pier Guidi en James Calado zaten allen op de hypercar, terwijl de auto door de straten van Maranello reed. Ook de andere auto van Ferrari met racenummer 50 was in de parade te zien.

De optocht kon op veel trouwe fans rekenen, die allen een blik wilden werpen op het racemonster dat uiteindelijk met 81 seconden voorsprong op P2-finisher Toyota eindigde.
