Strakka Racing houdt dit seizoen voor gezien

Strakka Racing heeft zich terug getrokken voor de resterende wedstrijden in het World Endurance Championship. De renstal won in de 24 uur van Le Mans de LMP1-klasse voor privateers. Het team houdt het seizoen nu voor gezien om zich voor te bereiden op een nieuw tijdperk voor de sportscars. De Honda Performance Development ARX-03c krijgt bij het Goodwood Festival of Speed een passend afscheid.

Dan Walmsley, teammanager bij Strakka Racing: "We overwegen momenteel een aantal opwindende mogelijkheden om onze toekomst voor de lange termijn in sportscars te waarborgen, dus het is noodzakelijk dat we al onze aandacht op dit proces vestigen. Het was niet makkelijk om te besluiten het restant van het WEC-seizoen te laten schieten, maar we doen het in het belang van onze perspectieven. We hopen binnenkort onze plannen aan te kunnen kondigen."
