Van der Garde wil titel in Estoril in de wacht slepen

Giedo van der Garde hoeft komend weekend slechts zes punten te scoren om de titel in het World Series by Renault-kampioenschap veilig te stellen. De Nederlander won dit seizoen al vijf races in de klasse. De P1 Motorsport-rijder is niet van plan om zijn aanpak te veranderen voor het aanstaande raceweekend op het circuit van Estoril.

Ik zal dit weekend niet anders benaderen dan de vorige races, meldt Van der Garde. Ik blijf gewoon doen wat ik altijd doe en dan moet het wel heel gek lopen als ik die zes punten niet kan pakken. Het circuit van Estoril is een mooi technisch baantje en dat ligt me wel. Vorig jaar ging het hier in de races ook erg goed, dus ik heb alle vertrouwen in een goed weekend.
