Walker opvolger van Van der Garde bij P1 Motorsport

Het World Series by Renault-team P1 Motorsport heeft een opvolger voor regerend kampioen Giedo van der Garde gevonden. Aan James Walker de zware taak om de successen van zijn voorganger een passend vervolg te geven. De 25-jarige Brit reed vorig seizoen voor Fortec Motorsport.

Roly Vincini van P1 Motorsport: James is meer dan in staat om races te winnen, maar om een of andere reden presteerde hij de afgelopen jaren niet constant. Zijn rijkwaliteiten staan echter niet ten twijfel, elke keer dat hij voor ons reed eindigde hij in de top drie. Wij denken dat we veel meer uit hem kunnen halen.

Walker: Dit wordt het belangrijkste seizoen uit mijn autosportloopbaan. Kansen als deze komen niet vaak voorbij en ik ben van plan er het maximale uit te halen. Ik kan niet wachten op de voorbereidingstests en de races. Het wordt een mooi jaar.
