Tech 1 Racing doet voor de World Series by Renault-weekenden op de Hungaroring en Paul Ricard een beroep op Nicholas Latifi. De 19-jarige Canadees combineert dat met zijn activiteiten in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3, waarin hij de tiende plek in de tussenstand bezet.

Tech 1 Racing-teammanager Simon Abadie: "We zijn verguld om Nicholas welkom te heten in ons team. Hij zal niet veel tijd krijgen om zich DRS, de startprocedures en de pitstops eigen te maken, maar we hebben er alle vertrouwen in dat hij zich snel aan kan passen. Hij zal elke seconde benutten om waardevolle ervaring op te doen."
