De World Series by Renault heeft de vrije training voor het weekend in Monaco afgewerkt. Daarin was Oliver Rowland de beste. De Brit reed een 1:24.171 en daarmee was hij iets minder dan een tiende sneller dan teamgenoot Jazeman Jaafar.

De beste Nederlander is terug te vinden op de zevende plek en luistert naar de naam Meindert van Buuren. Hij reed een 1:25.525. Hij eindigde vlak voor Nyck de Vries, de beste rookie. Beitske Visser kwam minder goed uit de verf en moest genoegen nemen met P17.

Morgenochtend vindt de kwalificatie plaats.
